Welcome to the Official Website for the MABAS Division 21

MABAS (mutual aid box alarm system) was born in 1970 from the ideas of a group of progressive fire service leaders. Their idea was to provide a non-discriminatory mutual aid response for all for all the emergency responses the fire service faces.  From its inception MABAS has grown through participation and experience and now includes 1,100 member agencies, 37,000 firefighters,
and 67 divisions.
 

MABAS 21 is composed of 11 departments and proudly serves Chicago's southwest suburbs.
